You!?
This could be you!
Plot and Pattern (a subsidiary of PatchWork) is rethinking how creative support flows to organizations rooted in care and justice.
Here's what I'm building: A network that connects skilled creatives with organizations that need quick-turnaround support. Think less "long-term volunteer commitment" and more "agile, creative collective."
Similar to Upwork and other services, but more grassroots.
What I need:
Copywriters who can craft compelling social contentGraphic designers who understand movement aesthetics
Web designers who think accessibility-first
Proofreaders with sharp eyes and social justice awareness
How it works: You join a contact server. When an org needs a quick Instagram carousel or website copy review, I send a brief. You respond if available. Work gets done efficiently, orgs stay mission-focused.
Starting as volunteer-based, but the vision is bigger — evolving into a sustainable model where creatives earn through cash payments or skill bartering (your nonprofit gets copy, you design their event graphics).
Who I'm looking for: Any skill level welcome, but you need genuine commitment to justice-oriented work and professional communication standards. This isn't just about building portfolios — it's about reimagining mutual aid for the digital age.
