JORI BERCIER
SYSTEMS THINKER • IDEA MENTOR • VISUAL ALCHEMIST • CRITICAL THINKER
About
My unique approach to problem-solving stands at the intersection of architectural thinking, academic frameworks, and marketing savvy. I transform complex challenges into structured solutions with scholarly depth, then communicate them in ways that resonate and drive action.
Consider me your strategic architect—designing with precision, thinking with rigor, and delivering with impact.
My research examines how queer bookstores in Seattle create spaces for transgender belonging and embodiment. Beyond academia, I work as a community development freelancer, applying systems thinking and mutual aid strategies to help diverse communities connect and thrive. I am passionate about creating inclusive spaces and support networks that recognize intersectional experiences and foster genuine connection.
Fun Facts: I enjoy restoring classic cars, studying architecture, and I owned a used independent bookstore in my hometown of Lafayette, Louisiana. Front Porch/Gumbo/Cajun culture is at the root of all I do.
